Mindler - Rethinking Therapy
At Mindler, we’re here to help you find the support that’s right for you. Your journey starts with an assessment session, where you’ll talk with a therapist about what you’re going through. Together, you’ll decide upon the right treatment pathway for you.
Mindler can offer you therapy sessions or iCBT (internet-based cognitive behavioral therapy) if a self-guided approach is more appropriate for you. Our tailored programmes address challenges including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and more, helping you develop practical strategies and tools to improve your mental well-being.
How it works
1. Download the app
Download the Mindler app and set up your account. Link your Vitality Membership number and Date of Birth under the 'Vitality Insurance' menu option.
2. Book a video session
Choose a therapist and book a session that fits your schedule. To complete the booking, please select “Vitality” as the payment method. We will invoice Vitality once the session is completed.
3. Build skills between sessions
Access your tailored iCBT programme and complete exercises between therapy sessions to reinforce your progress.

How many sessions can I have using my insurance cover?
When you register with Mindler or add a new claim, you are approved to have 4 sessions. Your clinician will discuss a Treatment Plan with you during your initial sessions to determine how many sessions they recommend you have. Your therapist will request further sessions be added to your Mindler account.
All bookings are made in line with your policy terms, so you may be liable to pay in contribution to your claim. We recommend you check directly with your insurer if you have any questions about your benefit coverage.
Why am I being asked to add a payment method to my booking?
Booking a session with Mindler is a two-stage process. The session date and time are selected and then the payment method needs to be added to complete the booking. If you do not add a payment method within 15 minutes the booking will automatically cancel.
If your session has been booked by your therapist or Customer Service, you will need to add a payment method to complete the booking by selecting to pay by credit or debit card, promo code or Vitality.
Can I join my session via a laptop or PC?
You can have your session on your laptop or PC if you prefer a larger screen. You will need to go into the app for your booking, as usual and get the code you will need to enter into the page on the laptop to join your session.
On your mobile:

Select the session
You will see “Enter Call” and underneath “Use another device”
Select “Use another device” to gain your access code
On your laptop/PC:
Open your chosen browser eg Google, Safari
Input the URL to the bar: meet.mindlercare.com
Add in the 6 digits from the booking
You can now join your session
Please Note: You will need to ensure that you allow the app and web browser access to the microphone and camera on your laptop/PC to be able to see and hear your psychologist.
How do I book a session with my Vitality insurance?
Vitality will be made available as a payment method for sessions scheduled to take place in the current policy year. To complete the booking using your Vitality insurance as payment, please select Vitality in the payment section.
We will submit an invoice to Vitality once the session is completed. You will receive a statement in your Member Zone account for all completed sessions with details of who is to cover the session. If you are liable to pay in contribution to your claim, Mindler will send you an invoice via email with details of the session and how to pay.
How do I pay an invoice?
Mindler will send you an invoice via email with details of the session and a link to pay using a credit or debit card.
Please note you may be liable to pay in contribution to your claim, so please check your policy terms with your insurer. We can only invoice insurers for completed sessions you attend, so if you cancel within 24 hours, miss a session or do not complete a session you will be liable to pay the session fee instead.
Why have I been sent an invoice?
If your Vitality policy includes an excess, you’ll need to pay a contribution for your therapy sessions. We invoice Vitality for completed sessions only, so missed, incomplete, or cancelled sessions within 24 hours will be billed to you directly.
Why is my policy renewal not updated in the Mindler app?
Most policy renewals are updated automatically, but some take a little longer to be completed in full. If your policy renewal date has passed, please contact Mindler Customer Services via the app and the team can link in with Vitality for an update.
