What treatments are offered at Mindler
At Mindler we offer several forms of therapies, but only therapies within Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which is an umbrella term for a host of interventions such as ACT, CFT and our blended treatment model. You can find out more about each type of treatment below by clicking the links.
- ACT stands for acceptance and commitment therapy, and focuses on accepting and embracing all difficult thoughts and emotional states instead of fighting them.
- Mindler offers blended treatment, which is the combination of therapy sessions with a psychologist and self-help programmes, which the patient can complete in their own time between sessions.
- CBT stands for cognitive behavioural therapy, and is commonly used to treat a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression and other mood disorders.
- CFT stands for compassion-focused therapy, and is a novel form of psychotherapy to help treat severe and enduring mental health problems in individuals who live with high levels of self-criticism and shame.
